yesterday

was busy. 1st a soccer game. leah did awesome! the team played really well together! the still lost but they did apply things that were taught at practices. next we went to a friends birthday party. lots of kids on wheels, and kids playing with balls. fun. 3rd we went to berkley days fair. had a blast, we only stayed for a minute before we decided to come home for a quick dinner and change into warmer clothes. we met up with my friend kelly who is a fellow mom of 4. leah got a wrist band, and went on tons of rides. i ate an elephant ear. those really are the best things ever created! great for helping me lose weight im sure. yummy.

my 9th mothers day

it went well.
got up, got the kiddos dressed and drug them to royal oak for the big flower sale.
bought a few things for my yard, as well as stuff for barb and my mom.
came home and planted before the rain came down.
prepared dinner.
yelled at scott for not helping.
had the fam over for kabobs, au gratin potatoes, asparagus, spinach salad and desert.
we ate, drank, and were merry.
i am thankful.

looking for some low airfare. with the whole swine flu thing going on i bet well find a great deal. did i mention thes is a girls trip? no hubbys or kids! super-duper exited!

tigers vs. yankies

scott and i took leah and charleigh to a tigers baseball game. it was leah's 3rd game and charleigh's 1st. we were able to score really good tickets from some of scotts season ticket holder friends. c.j. was pretty nervous when we first got there. she doesnt get out much, lol. she clenched to her daddy and complained about the loud noise. soon enough she was cheering, dancing, singing and flirting with the people behind us. leah escorted her sister on the merry-go-round, which charleigh called a marigold. we had hot dogs and cotton candy. i couldnt have asked for a better date.

yeah, so mary fell off it today.

proceeded to choke on the food while crying.
the bench is now outside.
it will NOT return to the table until scott puts a back and arms on it!

first soccer game of the year

no, this picture isnt of rodney dangerfield, itl leah at a soccer game last year.

saturdays soccer game was (can i say horrible?) the score was 0-20ish. if it wasnt 20, im close. this year the coach has asked me to assist her at practices, which are 2 days a week unlike last years 1 day a week. i did help last week, and everything to seem to run smoothly. coach katie was super organized and we really did work on important game techniques. i guess we just need to have the kids run the entire practice...they seemed to lack stamina out on the field.

oh well, better luck next time.

todays forecast is 84 degrees, a near record high. needless to say we will be outside just about all day, playing sidewalk chalk, pushing kiddos in bikes, applying neosporin to booboo knees, and transplanting lettuces. we are also bbqing up some ribs tonight. yum!

today is sunny and beautiful.
kinda chilly though.
today is leahs second soccer practice for the season, i will be helping out.
yeah! exercise!
all the rain weve been having has really made all the flowers and plants big and beautiful.
