so much to do

we did a little spring clean up in the backyard today.

made a prince crown, princess crown and a wreath.

picture will follow once i find the camera.

pot the pond filter in today too.

hopefully well have non-green water soon.

1 dollar goes a long way

for my birthday my mom got me a few things for my garden. she always does. one was a box full of random shade flowers. it was only a dollar. leah and i sprinkled the seed mix and watered last week. there are 3 pots in all. these sprouts are growing like crazy. it will be fun to transplant them out front under the babies bedroom window this spring.

january nineth

winter is cold. i am quite unmotivated in the dreary days of january. it it just ugly outside. brown shriveled up plants, no flowers, snow over everything and a half frozen over pond. the big picture at the top of this page is from my backyard garden in the summer. i really miss that. i make my way to my backyard every few days. i miss the colors. this coming spring we are putting in a pool. a nice size pool. i am really exited to rearrange my plants and put in a lot more vegetable and fruit plants. i cant wait for spring. here are some pictures from my garden last year.
